This project was created by drawing inspiration from the Odd Wisconsin Exhibit. This collection was inspired by the artist, Jack Vettriano and the 1940’s film, An Affair to Remember. I used a variety of textured fabrics to create the elegant feel of the collection. I reinterpreted some classic 1940’s silhouettes making them more modern.

Into the Mystic

Student: Kaley Sundby
Course: Computer Generated Images
Program: TAD, Year 2

This piece was inspired by the book "Where the Wild Things Are." It was first hand drawn, then scanned into Photoshop, then was exposed onto a silkscreen to create the pattern on the scarf. Later, I went back in and dip dyed it to make the piece more colorful and fun.

Shadow Weave

This scarf was created to create a very subtle shadow weave pattern with earth toned threads that were both very soft and loosely twisted. The final product is very fluffy and comfortable.

Edge of Glory

Student: xiaotong zhao

This is a four-piece Fall/Winter Women's Ready-to-Wear collection inspired by Picasso's Cubism work. I tried to block in different colors, prints, and fabrics to create a clean but edgy look that eliminates some of the femininity.
